On 11/18/16 around 12:35am Company 20 was dispatched to a house fire on the 300-blk of Owen Ave. in the first due. Engine 20-2 (A/C Stevenson) arrived to find the rear deck on fire and put an 1 3/4″ handline in service. Ladder 20 (Capt. Donohue) found smoke inside the home and began ventilation. A quick knock prevented any extension into the dwelling. The Engine and Ladder were on scene for about 30 mins. before clearing.
