On Sunday several members took Engine 20-2 to a memorial service commemorating the D-Day invasion of Normandy Beach. The memorial was a tribute to all those who served in the war and included a brief parade from the Drexel Hill VFW post to the post office and speeches from several local dignitaries including Congressman Curt Weldon. The highlight of the memorial service was the flying of a flag that was flown over Omaha Beech during World War II. The flag had several holes from enemy shells. Thanks to the Drexel Hill VFW for allowing us to attend and especially to all those who serve and served our Country.
