The members of the Drexel Hill Fire Company wish to ask you all to join us in praying for one of our own, Deputy Chief Mike Morgan. Deputy Chief Morgan has suffered a stroke and is currently in the intensive care unit at Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia. Mike underwent emergency surgery last evening and is currently recovering in critical, but stable condition. Mike’s family has been by his side throughout his ordeal, including his brother Kevin, a current firefighter and past Chief of the Company. Mike has been an extremely active member of the company and invaluable asset to this community for more than 3 decades. He has also been a Delaware County 911 dispatcher for nearly as long. Mike has devoted his entire life to helping others and now we ask you to help us return the favor, by sending prayers and good thoughts to he and his family. We will do our best to keep you updated on Mike’s condition as we all hope for a speedy recovery, but at this time it has been asked that he does not receive visitors until further notice. We have your back Mike, as you’ve always had ours. Get well soon brother!
