On Saturday just around 1130 PM Engine 20-2 was dispatched to the 4100 block of Rosemont Avenue for an investigation. The engine arrived and the crew was advised by the home owner of an odor of something burning in the house. Crews began to investigate and discovered an extremely hot area of the wall in a second floor bedroom. Captain Bill Tully 20-12 requested the remainder of Company 20 to the scene. Crews then began to open the wall and with the help of the thermal imaging camera were able to locate a small fire in the wall caused by a short in an electric line. Crews were able to open the wall above and below the shorted line and extinguish the small fire burning in the wall. Finding no further extension the Company was returned to service in about an hour.
