On April 11th Broomall Fire Company held a recognition ceremony for the crews involved in a specialized rescue that occurred on Feb 5th on James Road. Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company received a Certificate of Commendation for the assistance to Broomall Fire Company of the extrication of persons trapped under a large tree that fell into the house. Lieutenant Steve Castellano attended the ceremony and accepted the certificate on the companies behalf.
